Girls JO & XCEL Team Coach

Mackenzie's story

Mackenzie is our most accomplished gymnast on the coaching staff. She recently finished a successful four year gymnastics career at Boise State University from 2013 - 2017. BSU is a top 20 Division 1 gymnastics team and has been for many years. Not only did Mackenzie make the team, but she was given a scholarship to compete there.

Education is also very important to Mackenzie. During her time on the BSU gymnastics team she maintained an impressive GPA. In fact, her team was ranked #1 in the classroom with a team average GPA of 3.86!

Growing up in Las Vegas, Mackenzie trained at Brown's Gymnastics starting when she was six years old. She competed up through level 10 before moving on to college gymnastics.

When her college gymnastics career came to an end, Mackenzie knew she wanted to stay involved with the sport. Becoming a coach was the perfect way to do that and to help young gymnasts achieve excellence like she has.

I love kids and feel that I can help them see things from a different perspective. Gymnastics is not an easy sport and takes a lot of time and dedication. I want them to perform and succeed to their fullest potential.
— Mackenzie

We are excited to have Mackenzie on our coaching staff. She is very positive and friendly and provides insights and perspective that only come with being so accomplished in the sport. She is anxious to apply her expertise to help each girl on the Danik competitive team reach their highest goals.
